Catholic Strong
We finally received the first payment of money from Catholic strong. It was $24,000. We have to figure out which project we want to start with the money. Some projects in the works are a new door in the cry room so people can stop by the church and pray during the day and a volunteer is painting the front of the hall and the hall doors. The money is currently getting 3% in the diocese bank along with the rest of the savings we have.

Family Event Coordinator.
One thing we can do right away is hire a person to help organize family and youth events. The Job calls for about 30 hours a month. They would organize movie nights, game nights, youth trips, altar server trips, etc … If you are interested or know someone who would be, contact Fr. Goyette.

Money numbers for the year.
As of July 1st, we have saved $10,000 on the regular operation costs of the parish. This is the day to day expenses. However, we did have some major expenses that were paid out of the savings. $50,000 for the mold removal, $20,000 for Septic system, $21,000 for 2108 House of Charity. (House of Charity was taken directly out of our savings last year.) We also had big donations totaling $25,000 along with the $24,000 for Catholic Strong.
